Sad News

Life....What more is there to say??? Last night after work I found out that one of my good friend's mom died of cancer :( ughhhh Me and him have known each other since elementary school and I want to be there but I can't go to the funeral or viewing cuz Im goin to a FTA (Future Teacher of America) convention..... I feel so bad for him tho cuz this is his senior year in high school. Also His dad is still fairly young and he has a really damanding job (he's a cop)....and his sister is a sophomore in college .....I just couldn't imagine walking to get my diploma and not having my mom there...Yea she's in a better place and all of the pain she had is now gone but that doesnt make up for the time lost..but the Lord knows what he's doing...Please pray for the Rowell family!?

Prom Dress

This is my prom dress except mine has lil straps! Im going with my BFF Gentry White and I thought that the color would look good on us!! I figure he could just wear a light blue tie! I love it!!! and yes Cara...my next day off I will come over and model it for u!! haha everyone let me know what ya think!

Step Up 2

My cousins and I saw StepUp 2 Tha Streets last night!! Its def. a movie worth watching! The dancing was amazing! Some of the stuff that the dancers were pulling off was so sick! <-- in a good way :) Have you ever seen something so incredible that you couldnt help but smile??? Well lets just say that I probably looked like a little kid in a candy store because I smiled everytime they started dancing!!!! It soooo great! haha it makes me happy just thinking about it!! Go see it!!!

First Day at Work!!

My first day of work was yesterday!! I Loved it! I think I bruised my foot bone! haha I have to dress up but I didnt have brown flats to match my outfit so I wore heels!!! I worked from 9:30 to 4 and the only time im allowed to sit or lean on something, is during my lunch! My feet didn't really start hurting until 3 but I felt it this morning!

I had a pretty wonderful day! The only upsetting thing is that my manager just found out that her dad only has a couple weeks left to live. :( He has a tumor on his lung. I feel sooo bad for her! I wish I would know how to help her, but I don't think there's really anything that I can do! I felt so helpless yesterday because she was crying and the only thing that I could do for her was hand her tissues, listen, and get her breakfast with her card! Her name is Cherish...Please pray for her and her family as they go through this difficult time!

Singles Ward!

I had a blast yesterday at the singles ward! I met a lot of new people to hang out with and they were so inviting! I have to say that it was a lot different than my home ward! I was so confused the whole time! haha instead of having classes that people put you in, they had about five classes and you just picked which one you wanted to go to!! crazy right??? Finally I was just like..ummm just put me where u want me! haha

Later on, we had a fireside with Bishop Hibbard!! He's such a wonderful guy! He was tellin us stories about afghanistan! He has been there for a while now but he should be at home for good this time! Even though his occupation out there was in the medical field, he had to go through a lot of the same training as the soldiers! He even had to keep a machine gun with him and go on missions with different soldiers! They told him whenever he left that his job was to change the hearts of the people out there and how they viewed americans! He worked mostly with the taliban!! ahhh! I couldnt even imagine helping out the enemy! Bish. Hibbard is one of the greatest men that I have ever met in my life! He's so willing to help others and he was this way even before he left! Of course, I cried during the whole thing! I guess it was because he has helped me so many times while I was growin up! He is the kind of person that walks into a room and even strangers want a chance to talk to him! He's a great guy! and I know that he will continue to touch the lives of others!

Good News!

Oh man!!! okay so I finally finished my essay for Appalachian State! After that, I went to my emails and I had an email from BYU Idaho saying that they had reached a decision!

I was so nervous to look at it at frist, but then I just had to check it out!!!.....I got in!!!! yay! I don't know if I want to go there or not, but i'm just glad that I got accepted!!! Woohoo!!! ahhh!! im flippin out right now!

Life

okay so I went and filled out all those papers for work and the key holder position isn't going to be open as soon as they thought but i'm first they will come to right when it does!

My last english teacher went over my essay for Appalachian State University, so I have to go back through and fix that!

ughh what I really wanted to get out though....Tuesday night I went to the Parkwood- Porter ridge basketball game which Parkwood varsity boys dominated when they beat Porter Ridge by 30 pts...but that's not my point. My ex-boyfriend plays for Portter Ridge. I don't know what's wrong with me but for some reason I just can't let him go. I haven't had a problem with moving on in the past. I guess it doesn't help that his mom told my mom that he's still in love with me. I know the only reason why we're not together is because of his friends. It kills me though that he lets one particular friend run his life. I wish he would just stand up to them but I guess that'll never happen. Actually, I don't even want the relationship back. I just want us to be friends like we were before we dated but he doesn't want anything to do with me : / It sux that my own mom can talk to him and joke around with him the first time that they see each other since we broke up and then he won't even speak two words to me. Most people would probably just tell me that he's a jerk and that I can do better but there's has to be a reason why I still feel this way. Maybe one day we'll be friends again! who knows?? Maybe im just a loser! lol oh well! it happens!

Wow i probably shouldn't even be putting this in here but it makes me feel a lot better! It's kinda like my Catharsis I guess.....

First Job!

I received my first job!!! Francescas Collection ( a boutique) called me yesterday to give me the news! I'm so excited! Whenever I had the interview, they told me that if I was to be hired then I would only work as a sales associate for two weeks; after that, they would promote me to key holder, which is bascially just that. I have a key and either open the store or close. I also watch over all the other sale associates! Taking that honest route, I told her that I haven't ever worked before, but she said that it didn't matter because she trusts me!! Ahhh! That's a lot of responsibility! I just hope that I can measure up to their expectations!
